Letter From Membership Vice President

Letter From Membership Vice President

Hi ladies!

I am Grace Hatala, the Membership Vice President of Alpha Xi Delta at WVU. On behalf of my chapter, congratulations! You have already made two great decisions, attending West Virginia University and Going Greek! I know everyone here at Alpha Xi is more than thrilled to not only meet you, but to show you what Alpha Xi Delta means to us.

I wanted to give a little encouragement and reassurance with this letter as you begin the recruitment process. The bonds you will make from your Rho Gamma group, to the house where you belong in, will impact your life in the best possible way. We ALL deserve a strong support system, sisters who challenge and encourage us, and most importantly to feel loved and cared for. My sisters and I all thank Alpha Xi Delta for giving us just that. The women in this chapter are strong, down-to-earth, intelligent, hilarious, caring women, and the best friends I could ask for. There really is no better feeling than being accepted by women who are 100 percent different than you but 100 percent accepting of you because we all have the same underlying values.

Alpha Xi Delta has shaped me into a woman I never expected to become, and I encourage you and am so excited for you to realize your highest potential. Stay true to yourself during this journey, don’t be intimidated and have so much fun because country roads and your future sisters will always get you back home.

Xi love,

Grace Hatala
